Problem Solving
No Photo Idea too Extreme
There are far too many examples of challenging projects to list Ken’s creative solutions, but one stands out, the New York Jets and Giants football stadium shoot. The problem was to shoot a 36 hour continuous time lapse of the stadium. From the inaugural kick off of the Giants game through the 24 hour change over to the Jets branding. Five cameras and a huge shot list, one DP (Ken) and the knowledge that there is only one chance to get the main shot. It turned out great from a sunny daylight through midnight stadium lighting to sunrise onto the new day and game. It was also a viral success getting over a million views in the first week of release as well as being picked up by all major and minor news networks including cultural blogs and video industry vlogs.
