Why do we shoot products that are able to be put on either white, black or a colored background? There may be a need on apparel and fashion accessory commerce sites to change the background seasonally. Or you may want to repurpose catalog assets in ads, banners or headers. If a product is shot on white, it will typically only ever will look correct on a white background. If you cut it out of it’s white background and put it on a color or black it will not be optimal. Our technique for shooting a product for multiple backgrounds also typically results in the most tone and color accurate product.
